Khadijah Rolle is a Broadway performer who recently completed her run in A Wonderful World: A Louis Armstrong Musical on Broadway. In her Broadway debut, she was part of the ensemble and served as the understudy for the role of Lil Hardin. She was recently honored with the Broadway World Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act. Additionally, she received a Carbonell Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance as Felicia in Memphis.
With a passion for storytelling through music and theater, she has built a career that bridges performance and mentorship, drawing from her journey from Miami to Broadway to inspire young and upcoming artists.
She has also created her own innovative Musical Theatre approach, The Singing Actor, designed to empower performers in mastering the art of storytelling through song. This method guides artists in deeply analyzing a song’s text, unlocking its emotional depth, and delivering a performance that fully embodies the character and brings the story to life on stage.
